Citywide Banks is continuing its support of the Mental Health Center of Denver (MHCD) by participating as a 2017 Collaborative Partner. The bank provides significant financial support, employee volunteers, event involvement, and actively participates in MHCD awareness campaigns throughout the year. Through multiple community sites, mental health providers in Denver Public Schools, and other outreach, MHCD provides treatment and prevention services to more than 45,000 children and adults annually.
"Our leadership and employees at Citywide Banks are proud to continue our support of the life-changing work being done at MHCD," commented Steve Ebner, Marketing Director at Citywide Banks. "It's a great need in Denver and our community is very fortunate to have access to these services."
Earlier this year, MHCD and its ground-breaking Dahlia Campus for Health & Well-Being was featured nationally on the PBS Newshour (see video below). The 4.5-acre campus integrates a preschool, mental health services, dental clinic, hearing services clinic, community center, and a 40,000-foot urban garden and aquaponics greenhouse.
Check out the two videos below to learn more how MHCD is helping to move our community forward. Complete information about services, volunteer opportunities, and financial donor opportunities are at www.mhcd.org.
