Centennial Bank and Trust and Citywide Banks have joined together to create one of Colorado’s most dynamic community banking teams. As we move forward, our primary goal is to ensure this exciting expansion is as smooth as possible for our customers. Full Integration Now in Progress

On July 7, 2017, Citywide Banks became a subsidiary of Heartland Financial USA, Inc., and simultaneously merged operations with Centennial Bank and Trust. Our combined team will operate under the Citywide Banks name through more than 25 locations across Denver, Boulder, the foothills, and the mountains. For our loyal customers, this expanded local team, our growing commitment to Colorado communities, and the comprehensive resources of Heartland offers an exciting value proposition.

Our team is currently working to fully integrate the resources, operations, systems, and locations of the expanded Citywide Banks entity. Later this summer, customers will be receiving important account information related to this exciting expansion.

Who is Heartland Financial?

Heartland Financial USA, Inc. is now the parent company of Citywide Banks. It will support Citywide's local team with world-class technology, expanded product offerings, support operations, and other resources.

Will the bank’s name change?

No. The Citywide Banks name and our recognized logo will remain the same. All of the Centennial Bank and Trust locations will soon begin to operate under the Citywide Banks name. Later this summer, we will be sending customers more information and timelines when these additional branches will be fully integrated.

 

Will my local banking team change?

For most areas, customers will continue to work with the same banking teams at the branches. However, this consolidation of Citywide and Centennial teams arose as part of a growth plan. Therefore, to better enable our bank to serve customers, some employees will transition into new roles and new opportunities in different locations.

 

Can I continue to use my existing checks, debit card, and/or ATM card?

Yes, please continue to use your existing checks, debit and ATM cards. Later this summer, you will receive more information about any changes that may affect your account.

 

Where do I send my loan payments?

Please continue to make your payments as usual. Use the same payment coupons or invoices you currently use. We will notify you well in advance of any change.

 

Will my direct deposits, automated payments, and transfers continue to be connected to my account?

Yes. All these services will continue without interruption as you have them set up. If you need to make changes, please contact your current branch office.

 

May I still access my safe deposit box?

Yes, your safe deposit box remains accessible.

 

Will my deposits still be FDIC-insured?

Yes, up to $250,000. If your total deposits by account with the combined bank exceeds $250,000 after the merger, please see a personal banker who will help you structure account ownership for maximum insurance protection.

 

Will the banking products and services change at Citywide Banks?

There may be changes, but every effort will be made to match your accounts to identical or similar products. A Citywide Banks banker will be available to assist with any questions. The combined bank will offer a full menu of competitive consumer, business and commercial products with advanced technology and online/mobile services. This new lineup of products and services will offer expanded choices for both our personal and business customers.
