Citywide Banks sponsored the LPS Foundation's Legacy Fund for Mental Health at last month's 2017 Spirit Celebration event. The funds will help provide additional mental health support throughout the Littleton Public Schools District. The programs are focused on helping students to build resiliency and positive mental health wellness at school, as well as continue connecting families with mental health experts in the community.

Through a generous matching fund by Littleton Adventist Hospital, the event raised more than $75,000 for mental health programs in local schools. This mental health fund, which was established by the nonprofit foundation in 2015, has provided the following professional development, training, and activities:

  • Mental health team leaders
  • Positive coaching alliance
  • Mental health awareness campaigns
  • LPS collaborative intervention program
  • Cyber safety workshops for parents
  • Mental Health First Aid training
  • Love and Logic training
  • Healing Our Youth program
