Think Different. Think Forward.
This month, Citywide is moving our Executive Offices to the uniquely-different office tower at 1800 Larimer. The new building, the first office high-rise built downtown in more than two decades, has been trumpeted for its next-generation, revolutionary green design. More significantly, the change to Denver’s skyline has become a symbol of Denver’s resurgence as a national business leader. I am proud to be working with so many local businesses that are contributing to this shift. It’s no coincidence that a common bond between these companies is the ability to embrace the changing landscape of Denver business.
We’ve all seen that big is not always better. Today, consumers want to connect with businesses. Here at Citywide, we call it ‘high-touch.’ It goes beyond staying in touch or meeting for lunch. It means knowing the customer enough to continually bring value to the relationship through new ideas and forward-thinking solutions. It’s being nimble and small enough to steer around challenges that arise internally or externally. It’s about managing change. There’s no such thing as going down a path simply because “you’re too big to fail” or “that’s the way we’ve always done it.”
The marketplace is evolving and all of us need to shift our thinking. Whether it’s the way we build office buildings, market our products, or fund our growth, our stability depends on embracing change.
